The M20 was wide ratio (2.52 or 2.56), the M21 was close ratio (2.20), and the M22 was close ratio, heavy duty.

Remember keeping all of those uncaged roller bearings in place while inserting the main shaft - then wondering if any fell out? I still had that greasy old dowel around until a few years ago.
