donor trans.
Does anyone know of a good site that has info. on production vehicle standard transmissions?
I'm looking for something to put behind my bb402 chevy engine.
I know of a good junkyard but they can't tell you anything over the phone if you don't have a specific make/model/year to tell them.
anything would be a help.

Tech,
The M20 was wide ratio (2.52 or 2.56), the M21 was close ratio (2.20), and the M22 was close ratio, heavy duty.
Remember keeping all of those uncaged roller bearings in place while inserting the main shaft - then wondering if any fell out? I still had that greasy old dowel around until a few years ago.Jack

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
