    Nice truck

    Where does all the extra oil go ? the pumps probably filling up the torque converter 1st time you start it up. A lot of fluid goes into that donut.

    The thing I want to figure though, you fill the converter half full on the bench before you slot it into the trans, then when, the pump is pumping all that fluid into the top half of the converter, is all the air displaced by the fluid or does some of it get compressed in the converter. It's just a thought that comes back and "haunts" me from time to time.
