trans am coils
79 t/a coils cutting 1/2 a coil will lower 1.5 and 1 full coil will lower 3 inch is this right .........56 gmc bigblock

79 t/a 6.6 litre is that better and my other threads had all the info needed for a response i find it funny i have legit post and then i see stupid crap posted and mine vanish i guess they need room for all the crap..........56 gmc bigblock

looks like to me it would take a lot of info to formulate a heights, and i havent done this lately, but take the spring height, say 12" and if you wonted to lower the car 2", cut about 1 1/2 " out of it or if you wont 3" cut 2 1/2 ", when you put the weight on it it should be close. i dont think you could ever say cut 1 coil and that would be 3", i wouldnt do that unless youve got some extra springs. it probably a 2 cut deal anyway. something to think about.Originally posted by short step

you cant put the coils to the 56 its a straight axle it was only for t/a56 gmc bigblock
