My 61 chevy pickup have torsion bars in the front, and I jacked it up and took out the rear bolts, so its completely loose, but i can't get them to unattach from the front were it goes into the A-frame, does anyone know how there are supppose to come out.

Not sure on your Chevy but on the old mopars ya just take the retainer out of the back mount then put a clamp on the bar and tap it back with a hammer......... corse if that don't work we get a bigger hammer
