Re: lowering with leaf springs
I doub't you would lower any. try blocks between the bottom of rear end and top of leafs, should work. 3" block should = 3" drop in ride hight in the rear.Originally posted by 59chevyapache
hey guys i have a 1959 chevy apache and i want to lower the back end about 3-4 inches. It has a four leaf pack and i was wondering if i took out one of the springs would that give me the lowering im looking for? Also will this still be enough support for daily driving. the truck wont see any hauling the most would be 100 pounds of bikes. any help would be apreciated.
thanks,
