Front Steer Power Rack & Pinion

I hope this falls under the "Suspension" forum.
Does anyone know what kind a power Rack & Pinions are front steer other than the usual Mustang and T'Bird ones? Maybe some foreign car? I have limited room in my project and would like to try some other alternatives that might be a bit smaller that the Mustang/T'Bird R&P. I'm a fair fabricator, so I can likely make anything fit.

The hiedts superride for a 32' use to use a Dodge Omni for a front rack and pinion, not sure if it was available in power though, as there's was manual, I have to say on a early Ford there was no need for power, it steered easily on my 32.

I'm pretty sure Omni is rear steer. I've seen them on early Mustangs (64-66).

If it was rear steer, they stuck it on the front of the heidts superride! I agree with Tech if it's not ifs the rack and pinion doesn't work right, nor look right.

Stuman, You are correct, the superide II is in front and original is in back, I have installed several IFS units and until I saw the pic it hadn't dawned on me it was in back on the original superide! Why dont you call them and ask where the Superide II rack is from, they where very forth coming with info on parts when Gary Heidt owned it, maybe they still are?

I have the JAG IFS in my 48 Ford F1. No problems with the steering linkage. I have pictures if you want them.
