Yeah, but the Jacuzzi pump is obsolete. To upgrade the pump, I've got to change the flanges, and that won't be any fun at all. I'm really trying to procrastinate it.

After a minimum of research on drop spindles, I'll give it a try to cut off a coil.
I had thought drop spindles were a plug n play type part- but it seems that they can cause bump steer, and clearance issues.
Anyone willing to chime in?
How much are you chasing? an inch?? I wouldn't make a cut until the springs settle some.
Seems like I don't do much anything in a hurry nowadays.
I'm surprised no one has suggested getting the drop by swapping in a big block!
Yeh-use a BBC with an aluminum head on the left side plus alt on the right side to balance the drivers weight placement so it sets level side to side when your at a stop light, starting line-------or waiting for the cop to finish writing out that ticket----------
If you only want a 1/2 in or so lower, don't cut a coil-------look at the spacing of the coils under load and measure ONE wire diameter plus space between coils-----look at leverage ratio fof where its positioned compared to spindle distance--------then maybe jact the car up the distance that you want to lower it to get an idea of the amount you need to shorten the spring---------
