Pinion angle
I want to pull the narrowed 9 out of my truck (86 Chevy) and switch from leaf to coilovers and four link. Is there a kit? The pinion angle is my only concern, because my ride hieght is going way down, the kit would assume factory ride hieght, right? I can do any fab work that needs to be done, so is using a kit a waste?

pin center is lower on the 9 then your gm rearend so set your ride height then when you get the rear end were you want it set you pin angle were it needs to be there kits but i know more then one guy just move the spring s in on tube out full size trucks

Thanks for the tip, this is my first time going this far on a street ride.

I bought a triangulated four-bar kit from Progressive Automotive in Ohio. Very reasonably priced and good stuff. The labor savings are well worth doing it that way, imho. They also make a slick rear sway bar setup. Had to have that, too.

These guys might have something that will help. They have a good tech support also

I like their stuff because of the heavy duty helms ends and the amount of adjustable.Their tech support is first class. They build stuff for the home builder in mind.
