Front end help please..

Hi. i have a 37 Ford Tudor with a Mustang II front suspension on it. I had to rebuild everything. The "A" arms had to be replaced as well. I put on 2" drop spindles. When I took off the "A" arms. I didn't get the bolts back to where they were. When I put on the aluminum rims I bought for the car.. I scratched a slight groove in one of the rims. it came from the grease fitting. For now I have on 7/16" wheel spacers on it along with longer wheel studs. I would like to drop the wheel spacers, and go back to the oem wheel studs.. Could someone explain how I can set up the front wheels so that I won't run into this problem?? Should I just take out the grease fittings, and put a cap in the openings, or put on 90's ?? Thanks.. 90 degree fittings would be the easiest.... I take it we're talking the grease fitting on the upper ball joint??

The lower ball joints. Only hit when I turned the wheel..

Could I just cap it off?? The uppers don't hit anything.. I would like to take out the 7/16" spacers so that the wheels sit back a little more, so when I turn the wheel the tires don't hit the fenders..

Which Mll suspension system do you have on the car? From the looks of the wheel in the front fender, it looks like the 'A' arms may be too long or your new dropped spindles are set up differently. As far as the grease fitting - take it off and just plug the hole. When you need to do a lube, reinstall

My front suspension IS a Mustang II from a Mustang II. It was cut out from the frame rails and welded onto the 37 frame..
