suspension
Finished my 37 chevy pickup last year and now want to start another project. I have a frame and cab from a 1940 pickup along with a complete AMC Pacer car. Has anyone adapted a AMC pacer front end to a early ford frame. if so how did it work? I'm also thinking of going with a 360 Dodge engine out of a wrecked 1978 Li Red express

Got these links here at this site askin the same Q a while back and they were very helpful. If you go to the left and click the drop down under Main Menu and choose Search and Pacer you should find some discusions and more links here at CHR

Here's an article on installing a Pacer front end, it's in a Chev, but the concepts are there.

Thanks again for all the info. Bob I read the article and it gave me a good insite on installing the pacer if I go with it. Streets I wish I could restore the 78, but it was cut in two pieces. The only salvageable? parts were engine, rear end and front clip
