    Not sure but I think the Vega power steering box was a Saginaw 605...dont know about the mounting pattern and if the input is longer to accommodate the spool. Maybe some else on here has done the research.

    605 is the smallest p/s unit you want. The mounting bolt pattern is the same for the 140 (vega), 525 (manual) and 605 (many year and model midsize) and 700 (variable rate p/s). If I recall the input is 2 1/2" longer than the Vega, although some 525 came with either, so he'll probably have to shorten his steering shaft.
