front end lift-ers ?? anybody used them?
i was just wondering if anybody here has ever used spring perch spacers. did they work ok?. or did they just make things worse in the front end?

just to lift the nose up about 3 inches so i can get some better weight transfer.Last edited by gassersrule_196; 05-05-2008 at 12:19 AM.

aw c'mon nobdy has used a set of these?!?!?! im just trying some new suspension things this year and figured i might as well try these !

I have used these 4 in each front spring . But That was a Long Time ago

Scooter,I'd say go ahead and try them,they are far better than those twist in ones. You'd be a lot better off having the engine torque/ traction raise the front for you. Have you done anything with the rear suspension?

The ones you have are better than those twist-in ones. They tend to break springs due to putting a lot of pressure on one point, where the bigger ones shim the whole spring end. That said, you're probably better off going to a spring shop and getting a set custom wound with the characteristics you want. Coil springs don't last forever!

i am on a tight budget, right now im one of those guys who probably shouldnt race due to insuffiecent funds so custom springs would probably be what 400 bucks or something?
rear suspension: im a goomba when it comes to adjusting that stuff.

Might want to consider the old ball joint spacers and shock extensions as they add about 3" of lift to the car on acceleration which will give a harder hit on the launch. Probably would be a better plan then just raising the static height.......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

i dont belive they make them anymore, jegs is a no and summit has some but i think they are for pick-ups. i wonder if brian could machine a pair ?
