Dropped Spindles
I'm looking at a pair of dropped spindles for a '91 Dakota on ebay item # 270109039604. The guy says they're from US Chassis Tech. Anyone know anything about this company?Ken Thomas

Thanks, Denny I checked out their site and it said that the spindles will only work with OEM offset wheels which makes me wonder about their quality.Ken Thomas

According to Brian from Slammed 1 suspensions the spindle shafts have a tendency to fracture when stressed with wheels outside OEM geometery.

I'm with you and Uncle Bob, the extra $60 or so is worth the peace of mind.

I put a set of the same spindles on a customer's pickup a few months back, no problems with them... I did have to do a bit of grinding and use a 1/4" wheel spacer to make the aftermarket wheels fit....Never could read the instructions real well!!!!!

No problem, just a simple spindle R&R. No more fun then any other spindle change either....

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
