Bentley Front Suspension
I have a 1946 Bentley that I converted to a streetrod. The front suspension is stock with the shocks being the lever-action type I believe the're called. They need to be rebuilt, as it feels like I hit a pothole with every small bump, but the technology would still be 1946.....I'd like to upgrade to one of the bolt on type shocks but not sure which one would work. I don't weld so that's why I'm looking for a bolt on conversion. I kept the steering on the RH side but that shouldn't interfere anyway. Any help or suggestions here would be appreciated.
supposed to be a Gen 5 BBC, the stamped numbers on the pad look to be. G083 1014182 Do we need the casting numbers from lower on the block? Any help is appreciated!
