Sounds like you have it figured out Ed. With coilovers there's not a lot of suspension movement. I plotted it all out a time or two changing bar angles and placement, not a lot of change in the pinion angle even with the shorter bars. Moving a crossmember is probably the best plan. The most critical part is to make sure that the movement of the rear end doesn't place anything in a bind.
