questions about Model A brakes/spindles
I just scored a deal on a model A I beam with spindles for my project. It doesn’t have backing plates, just the hubs. I may get flamed for this but.....I want to run disc's to match my rear's. Is there a swap for rotors that will fit the A spindles or are there some other spindles to swap that will accept discs? I've heard of late 40's ford spindles working for disc's but not sure of year and info...

My Speedway catalog is packed away ( we just moved ) but I know they have disc brake set ups for '37 to '48 spindles. These will bolt right on your a axle.
Don't know of one for A spindles, though, however check with Speedway on line, and they will have them if anyone does.

Thanks.... I was looking at them in speedway, was just trying to explore other options. Want to keep this build fairly low buck but still be safe and reliable."Life is all about ass...either you are covering it,
