    Need shock location help?

I have gas shocks in the front of the suburban and the front end is spongy and the I can feel the front tire bounce when I hit a bump. I have 22x10 with a 40 series tire and the burb has been lowered 5-7 . I am going to go with a stiffer shock to help but was looking at the angle of the shock, it looks like its leaning to much. I lowered the front with 2.5 dropped spindles and the rest was taken from the spring so the control arms(angles) only seen 2.5 inches difference. Whats is the correct angle for front shocks and should I move the shock out closer to the tire?
