the caddie spindle is dif. because it has a off set cam on the top ball joint that you turned to adj. the front end settings with. if you eliminate that you will have to have another way to adj. the front end, so if you are going that far you can use anything you want.Quote:

do44101, you're gonna have to do it like us hot rodders have done it for years. Measure your spindle diameters where the bearings ride and the length between them. Take your measurements to the boneyard and mic disc brake spindles until you find one with measurements close to the Cad. If the donor car has bearings that are smaller i.d., you can turn down the Cad spindle. If the donor car has bearings that are larger i.d., turn down a spacer ring and pin it to the Cad spindle. Once you have the rotor worked out, mock up the spindle and you'll be able to figure out how to make a mount off of the Cad spindle to hold the donor caliper. If you can't figure it out, find the oldest hot rodder you can and bribe him/her to help you.
P.S. Once you have it all figured out and running, draw up sketches and write instructions of how to do it and sell them on Cadillac forums and/or ebay. :)
