I have a lowered 89 suburban 5"/7",and I want a "solid" front end.The stock rubber bushings are just to spongy.I have replaced all the tie rods and Pittman arm,and took it for a drive, and with some speed (20-30 PMH) I turned left to right,and the body rolls way to much.I am also going to put some 22's on also:D
Oh ya going to replace ball joints and a-arm bushings next weekend.:D
Generally in sway bars I like to use a product called "Nolathane" which is just a urethane type product. Its hard and usually yellow or red in colour. It does have a tendency to squeak a little bit, but for the stiffness it brings to a front end I would say ther is no substitute.

I use Energy Suspension parts. Their polyurethane bushings are impregnated with graphite. They don't squeak like the pure poly types.

I have energy suspensions polys on my 78 firebird. THEY SQUEAK. very irritating, especially as a squeaking bushing is a sign of a bad bushing ( with OEM rubbers ). Make sure you get the GRAPHITE bushings.

I guess only "selected" black bushings are impregnated with graphite.:confused: How much more is that?:(
