Novas had a subframe in the front. It unbolted from the unibody and the entire front suspension and frame could be removed as a unit. Camaros and Novas (of that era) are essentially the same. The cars have no frames other than the subframe in front.
The Skylark is a cousin of the Chevelle, Tempest, and Oldsmobile Cutlass. They have a frame that runs the entire length of the car. If you have a Skylark front suspension and frame, you can see where someone cut the frame section off from the remainder of the frame.
You can figure your parts out by going to a real auto supply (not checked, auterzone, pip boyz) where the parts guys are knowledgeable. First, you can find the first year of discs for a Skylark....they disc calipers are common across the Chevelle, Tempest, etc line. Take a disc pad in and a good counter man can tell you which one you have.
