Rearend travel
I have a 1970 nova with a 2.73 10bolt rearend, monoleaf springs. I went to install a shackle kit this weekend (to lift the rear up to tuck in my new tires) and the rear end has traveled to the passanger side about 1". There is 1 1/2" gap between the well and the tire on the driver side, and only 1/2" or so on the passanger side. Is there anyway to get the axle back to center? Do I need new leaf springs?
Also, does anyone know what other rearends will fit into my nova? Pretty much any 10bolt as long as i can find a way to mount the shocks and swap my leaf springs or get some of the same length. I'd like to go with one outta a 90s camaro so i could have posi. Anyways, just an idea, or even an S10?

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
