Fat Man's Suspension
Has anyone used any of the Fat Man's suspension? My dad has a 37 Olds that he wants to hot rod and want sot replace the stock front suspension with a Mustang II set up. Fat mna makes a frame stub specifically for his car and we were thinking about using it with his MII suspension. We would liek to hear what your experience with Fat Man's has been.

Fatman suspension
When youre dealing with a "odd" make like Studebaker,Buick,Olds, Anything other then Chevy or Ford. Fatman is about the only game in town. Except, maybe having a custom made front suspension from ??Morrison ?
I bought a Fatman front end for my Studebaker. The IV, Air bag front end. I debated long and hard between it and the coil over front end. No regrets so far. Only if you decide to go with the air bags you need a front sway bar!! No matter what Fatman or Air Ride tell you. They say you dont need one with a FSBB unit...Thats a big crock.

Fat man has occasionally got a bad rap on their quality from time to time, but as wheel said, they might be the only game in town..... I would check carefully on the quality issue before plunking down the big $$$$$$. Not familiar with the old Oldsmobiles at all, but you might want to check with Heidts and see if they have a suspension package to fit it....

Here's another alternative, they're one of the first in the business to use the MII setup in the early '70's and have a better rep than the overweight guy.
