lower control arms

I know that aftermarket lower control arms help with handling on a vehicle, but what do aftermarket upper control arms do? Are they really worth the money? Or should i just buy the lower arms and replace the bushings for the uppers?

The aftermarket arms are tubular steel instead of stamped steel, less flex under hard cornering and braking. I don't know what your application is, but some of the aftermarket arms are designed to lower and/or correct bump steer problems with the stock units.

i have a 65 chevelle, weekend driver, ocassional pass down the strip.

Heck, I think I would just go with a first rate set of poly bushings and stay with the stock arms!!!! If you want to drop the front, a set of dropped spindles would be a nice addition.......
