84 to 96 corvette front clip on 1940 master delux
hi guys and gals,
I own a 1940 chevy master delux on which I was hoping to install a 1984 to'96 corvette front clip. Now iam no mechanic, which is probably my first problem, but I cant stop but wonder if this can possibly be done.If so, how hard would it be ?what would I have to do to achieve this?If it can be done ,or if anyone has already successfully done this swap on a car like mine ,can I please get some instructions?
I'm hoping to use the stock chassis....Please somebody help me with this ....I need to get going on this project!Any and all advice will be greatly apreciated.

Ps.-If anyone knows of a site depicting such a swap...even better, please send it to me

There was a guy just made a post the other day on a '40 Ford Coupe with Vette suspension, do a search here on CHR, he had picks and stuff, too. I know your's is a chebbie, but the changeover would be similar.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Black Knight it shouldn't be much different than a Nova clip, other than the rack- the dirt track boy's do these all the time so you might find some help in those directions also....Jim

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
