Question Rear suspension for 41 chev coupel

I'm looking at lowering the 41 and need some opinions (that's a better word than free advice having been on this website a number of times) on Posie suspension kits. Any other suggestions?

well opinions are like a__hole everyone has one and most stink LOL sorry, But how low are you looking at getting it, and what do you have for suspension back there? Leafs, springs, bags? there are many ways to lower it.
YOu could C notch the frame cut the springs, remove a leaf, go with bags.
A little more info will better help the opinions on this

The previous owner had a lot of work done; however, the rear end is basically stock with the exception of putting in a Pontiac rear end. It even has the old knee action shocks on it - can't imagine why anyone would go to all the expense to put discs up front (after market conversion), put in a 350 with auto and add a Pontiac rear end (2.86:1) and then leave it sitting high in the air with the old stock shocks. I do not want a radical low rider result - just set it down a little so the running boards are off of the ground 6-8 inches or so and eliminate the truck height.

I've had good experience with both Posies parts, and Chassis Engineering. The Pontiac will have to go probably, they're just not very common, harder to get parts for, bolt pattern doesn't likely match the fronts, and they're pretty heavy. Not to mention wide, compared to 8" Ford or 10 bolt GM midsize.

Streets could write for the movies - sounds like a great soap opera. So what is with the 8" Ford being narrower? If the tires look right in the fenders now, what does the 8" Ford accomplish.

Tony, nice to have someone in the spring business on board.

Here's a suggestion, if you type www.vehiclespringservice.com it creates a link that allows the reader to go directly to your sight rather than have to cut and paste to a browser.
