I'm working on putting a Mustang II front suspension on my 1933 Chevrolet sedan. I know this has been done many times before, but I can't see how I'm going to attach the M-II cross-member to the Chevy frame. With the M-II suspension under the Chevy, the engine mounts on the suspension cross-member just about line up with the Chevy frame cross member that originally supported the front of the Chevy engine and the radiator. In fact, the engine mounts are keeeping me from raising the suspension to the level I need to. Is it common practice to cut-off the M-II engine mounts?

Also, will I need to fab some sort of brackets to mate the suspension to the fram rails? If so, what would they look like? Lastly, how do I go about fabing shock towers to go with the M-II suspension?
