    Suspension Set-Up Question

Hey! I gotta 1955 F100 and I would like to put air ride under it. The problem I am having is what to do about the front suspension. The mustang II is the obvious, but is there a more affordable option. I dont trust my welding skills to weld my frame, so the install cost is a factor. After looking into the cost of putting on a mustang II and a 4-link, I am close to buying a rolling chassis. I heard of chevy trucks having the front clip of an s-10. Will this work for my application? Is there other frames that a F100 will fit on? I dont see to many bagged f100's so I havent asked to many people.

My other option I am thinking of is just slapping a 3-5in drop straight axle and screw the bagging.

Oh yeah, when I got this truck it had a hacked-on Cordoba front clip. Which is a torsion bar set-up that suckes because since my nose is dropped the tires toe in.

    Thanks
    -Eddie

Just a quick estimate around $2800 just for the air suspension and four link
