just not hookin!
I recently dropped a 12 bolt off a 68 camaro into my 70 nova with 3.31's and added the comp eng j bolt traction bars to the combo. I have much better traction now than with my stock 10 bolt, but im still smokin through 1st gear. Im runnin a 350 puttin out about 370hp/390tq a TH 350 tranny w/ 3000 stall. I also have gabriel hi-jacker air shock which i know are not recommended with traction bars. My question is , what would be the best think to do or change to make for increased traction? Things that come to mind are:50/50 gas shocks, drag radial tires, pinion angle adjustment... what do you think?!Supernova!
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
