On T's, the colum is not under the dash, and cannot be mounted that way and have it still look right. I don't know exzactly what you mean by sprint car under dash steering. If ya want to vere from " Traditional " T bucket, you could run a vega box w/ crossed steering, where the drag link crosses over to the other side of the car and attaches to the front end that way. I don't see any way you could use a reversed corvaire box under the dash, because the pitman arm is part of the box, it pushes and pulls the drag link itself, which in turn turns the wheels, I guess if you wanted some weird linkage running under your dash to where the box should be, then to the drag link and front end, I guess it would work but it would be screwed up big time. If your trying to clean up the frame, so not so much stuff is visible, your only gonna put that stuff in the interior which in just about every old car, moreso with T's, everything under the dash is visible except behind the dash like the gauges and switches. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
