Traction
IVE GOT A SHORTBED TRUCK WITH A 454 AND IM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING TRACTION. ILL SPIN THE TIRES THE WHOLE 1/4. AND WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT I COULD DO THAT COULD HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM. AND IVE GOT A 12 BOLT REAR END WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST SIZE SLICKS THAT I COULD PUT ON IT WITH FACTORY FENDER WELLS.

hmm i would say about 10 inch if you get some offset wheels u could squeeze out some more
do you have stock suspension in the rear end?

Is your truck a leaf or coil spring rear suspension?
If it's leafs look at these...

If you are running coils you will have to look into a set of Air/Lift bags to fine tune your traction.

NOW I HAVE STOCK SUSPENSION BUT PLAN TO DO SOME WORK TO IT

id put some 10 inchers on it and lower the air pres.
