Rear leaf springs
I used the rear leaf springs from a Mustang II to mount the rear end under my 33. In order to make them fit and get the rear end where I wanted it I had to reverse them. Noone I asked could see a problem with it, but now that I'm further along I'm getting nervous about it. Does anyone see a reason this won't work?

What do you mean by reversed? Turned upside down or what? Is there any arch left to act as a spring? Please explain your concerns exactly.

Front to the rear. Yes, there's plenty of arch and rebound. As mounted in the donor car. if you divided the leaf exactly in 1/2, the center stock pins were locate about 2 inches forward of center. When I turned the springs around, front to rear, the center pin location was perfect for my rear end location.

Out side of wheel hop I dont see any real handling problems. But those cars had wheel hop any way.

I'll have to agree with Ives. A set of Lakewood slapper bars or Caltrac bars will cure the spring wind-up under power.
