camaro spindles
i have a 41 chev pu that was an earlier rod. The front end is a camaro stub with front steer. I want to get dropped spindles for it but cannot determine what year the front end is..any help out there???

Tks for the get back......I have the calipers off and was told to take them to napa and they would be able to tell me the year.
If I need any more info I'll get in touch with you............tks again

front steer camaro
if this is front steer newer camaro 70tomid 80 i know were to get them if you can not. if it rear steer 6osto69 it is the same spindles as a 67to 72 or 73 A body it is two pices the steering arms is bolted to spindle and has disc brake brackes caliper is not part of the spindle. steer box in front engine front steer and rear steer box is be hind cross over i hope that helps

Thanks Pat..........It deffinitly front steer...but trying to determine the right year is tough!! Do you know if the 70 to 78 spindles are all the same? If it isn't too much trouble would you let me know where I could get the spindles? I'm trying to get the truck together by mid may so I can take it to Hershey Goodguys show......and possibly the NSRA show at YORK, PA.

i hope this help when i look for things that fit ?i go to my parts store and look for year brake off. when they stop making that part . in your case they do not sell spindles but they sell ball joints. that can help and wheel bearings ball joints brake rotors 70s to 80s i do not know if it was 85 or86or ? but camaro went to a strut type front .my 50 chevy has a1980front sub clip and it has dop spindles i willget the name on them but it was golbal ??west?? or get on the net.if this is no help with the name it is at my shop i will get back to you sun late or mon .the guys at the parts store hide when they see me comming.

tks again for getting back so soon....I'm taking the caliper to NAPA today to see if they can come up with a year. I did find an outfit that supplies the dropped spindles, bearings, seal etc. for 70 and up camaros........I'll let you know what happens......Bill Lattanze......400zipper@comcast.net
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
