s10 front sub for 52 chevy

This afternoon I got the frame out from under my 52 and am getting ready to make a few changes. MII is out of the question so I've been considering my options. I am looking hard at using the front clip from an S10. It is narrower than the mid 70's Nova or Camaro and there is a lot of reasonably priced parts such as dropped spindles, bushings, etc available for them. Also can use the rear axle and suspension as well as brake master cylinder and a bunch of other parts from the donor vehicle. I haven't seen a lot on this swap so is there a big negative on it? I've found a nice LWB truck (without engine) that I can get for $100 and am ready to get it unless somebody talks me out of it. Just so you know, I'll be using a slightly warmed over Cadillac 425 engine and turbo 400 trans.

Mines a 54 GMC panel that sits on a 84 S-10 frame . Body mounts where almost the same. Had to use drop springs in the rear. front is stock and my running boards are about 4" from scraping. The S-10 front is narrower than the GMC. Rear was changed to a 8.5 10 bolt from a burned out Camaro

I have an s-10 frame under my 47 international pickup. removed the helper springs in the rear, cut one coil in the front. had to cut into the bed to fit tires with stock rear end , but it allowed me to run a real wide tire under the stock fenders. front end is a little narrow but can be made up some with reversed rims. Worked out fine for me.

I have a 50 chevy 1/2 and I am currently and just got done mocking up a front end from an 80 chevy 1/2
so far so good, This is my first swap so Im going to have a friend check my work before I drill my bolt holes.
I also used the rear end , power steering and mastercylinder

It is pretty much a bolt in install , just have to add 1/2 inch spacers between the frame rail and the crossmember and 1/2 spacers for idler arm and gearbox.

I am just worried about getting the camber right

I hope it works because I have so much time and effort in it now other wise I would probably consider s 10 frame also but I do like having the heavier suspension because Im thinking about a 429 Caddy motor

Thanks everyone for your replies. I may have not been clear enough on what I'm doing. My 52 is a sedan and I'm just looking at cutting off the front clip from the s10 and welding it to the sedan frame just like others have done using Camaro and Nova clips. Reason for the S10 is it is narrower by a couple of inches which will let me go lower. Using the whole frame would create a lot of other issues on a sedan. Has anyone used just the front clip of the S10 frame?
