    In early development of the Mustang (famous for wheel hop) the factory engineers used a traction bar that was mounted to the top of the axle and went forward to the spring perch. And, if I remember correctly it was only on the right side.


    I also had a 60 Studie Lark in the sixties. Paxton blown 301 Chevy. Tire smokin, wheel hoppin monster! I used ladder bars made from available bar stock. extremely heavy but helped keep the axles and spider gears in the rear!! Loved that lay down front seat!!!!
