Question 1950 Bulletnose Stude Frame Mods

I have a 1950 Studebaker Champion Bullet nose,,,i'm looking at my option's for a frame swap,,,I dont mean just a Clip,,,If i'm gonna do this i'd rather go the whole 9 yards and replace the whole frame and avoid weak spot's that i'm sure would show up on an old frame from the 50's.
So any and all suggestion's would be of a great help
Someone mentioned a chevy S10 or S15,,,what do ya'll think.?

    frame swap

The 53' and up Studebakers had basically the same frame. The 57 and up frame were stronger and had added cross members.
The wheelbase will be different on yours.
Fatman, Heidts, and Art Morrison all make frontends ( Mustang2 )
    for Studebaker.
Try www.stude.com and post your question. There maybe some folks there that can give you a better idea.
