Is it best to hang the doors and get the latches and hinges all trued up WITH or WITHOUT the weatherstripping in?
does it matter?
I saw on "Trucks" that he got his doors all set up without any weatherstripping and said that it is fine to do that.
Is this true?
Also, I've heard phosphoric acid is best to soak latch mechanisms in to dissolve all the crud. Can hydrochloric be used too?
If not, where does one find Phosphoric Acid?
