disc brake flex lines
Okay, so I'm using intermediate GM calipers on the front of the 32 coupe I'm building and basic "tabs" on the frame for the flex lines to go into and join the hard brake lines. Anyone know the best "stock" rubber flex lines (part number?)to use that will be long enough and work in this application? Don't want to use the braided ones.

I'm not sure if there is a "best" but I would definitely use a common application hose, if you post the approximent length you need maybe one of use could match something up for you.:toocool:

Well, from eyeballing it and as close a measure as I could do, it looks like it's have to be at least 15" long. So the one end would have to fit the GM caliper and the other end would have to be straight so the hose/end goes into the tab on the frame at 90 degrees to it , and the frame. Make sense??:)

I would check some of your local garages or parts houses that have garages. Some guys still make custom hoses and they shouldnt cost ya any extra change over an OEM hose. We have a local guy here who will make any thing ya need. Also check some of the hose types the MII big brake (GM calipers) conversion guys use. They have a 16" I'm sure I remember reading that meets your app. Sorry couldn't give ya a direct part #.

Thanks a lot, guys! It's great to know that a guy can get answers on forum! Turns out that the Wagner # is F71379 which is Auto Extra #102-36672 if anyone is looking for this application.
