find a wire thats hot when the key is at start and run position, off of the ign. switch or the fuse block and run it to a post on the dist. cap. that says dist. and right beside the word dist. will be the tack. wire post. i think its about a 12 ga. wire. :3dSMILE:Quote:

I've got it hooked up on the dist. , I was asking about the hook up for constant twelve volts at the ignition switch but I got it figured out
Where did u hook it up to so all who read this thread will have the answer!!!!!curiosity is a funny thing
well the real way is to replace the fesistance wire under the dash, it goes from the ignition switch to the connection between the firewall and it looks different from the other wires as it is insulated by wax paper looking stuff, with a 12 ga. wire. But I broke the pin for it so I had to improvise. I had to wire it between two different terminals on the ignition and ran the wire straight to the coil until I can get another pin for the proper way. I've heard that it is a different process on cars that hav the ignition in the steering column
