the engine i have been thinking about on my stand!!

So in the shop sits an engine stand with what was once a four bolt main LT! corveete engine i just stumble upon when i bought a pick up two years ago, the truck was yet another 1977 chevy silverado. And like any basket case that any of us have rolled into the driveway with the wife stood there at the front door shaking her head with a rolling pin in her hand...(i think we all have had this one right!!). this poor 350 was a tired out old soul and needed a little TLC so i started taking it apart and found the symtoms of a major and coplete over haul.For which i under took with all the joy of a little kid on X-MAS morning. All the work said and done it ran like a raped ape that truck was just a speeding ticket magnet.. problem was i didn't know much about tranny's and what was called a th350 locker??? my eldest brother for whom is a gm tranny speacialist told about them after the fact. so here's the problem the torque converter over heated stopped the crank so hard going down the hiway in the middle of the night and snapped the crank just in front of the rear seal housing. so i bought another crank gound to LT1 specs and now im thinking that, when i start tearing it down i might and rebuilding it i want to add a few treats to it to get a little more horses or should i just het it bored for a 383 stroker... Any suggestions guy ????

Having owned 9 Corvettes, I would recommend more cubic inches -it's the cheapest way to get reliable hp, imho.
