Leaf Springs, Question
I got a 39 Chevy Sedan an I bought C. E. rear leaf springs. I don't see no way to make the springs parallel front to back without
the bracket hanging off at least 1 1/2 '' per side. Is this normal or do I have another problem. Do they have to be parallel front to rear.

Leaf springs do not have to be parallel to each other. A lot of vehicles come from the factory that way.
The frame I am working on now is a 48 chev trk & the frame is wider at the rear spring hanger than the front hanger.

While Don is absolutely correct, if it were me I'd call CE and double check.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
