Mazda Truck Question?
A friend of mine has a B2000 Mazda truck and today we came back home to my house and it started smoking really bad. It still ran fine but we turned it off as soon as we got here and looked under the hood and it seemed to be comming out around the exhaust manifold, well it looked like it but could be comming out from somewhere else so not too sure. Does anyone know what it can be besides not having enough oil? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

check the valve cover gasket , may be leaking oil.

just a idea you might want to check your pcv valve maybe you have to much crankcase preasure? good luck.

How can I check that PCV pressure? I know that sometimes there's a problem with PCV and you will get oil where you air filter is because my auto tech teacher told me about it I will have to check it tomarrow, we are going to go over it all tomarrow. Sorry if none of this made no sense... kind of drunk here.

first pull it off make sure it's not all gummed up or anything.you should be able to suck on the outlet to make sure it's opening properly they are set up to let air flow out but not in. If it seems resticted or is stuck open Just replace it.Hope it helps.

Thanks a lot man. He left this afternoon but I will tell him and see what happens.

your pcv valve is nothing more than a calibrated vacuum leak.
