Ok "ya'll". As most of you know, I have a '72 Dodge Charger with a 318. And as most of you know I am swapping the intake from the stock 2 barrel to the 4-barrel. I also am swapping the ignition out for a brand new electric set-up.

The question is, before I get all of this set up correctly and get ready to crank it over, do I need to check anything to make sure I don't blow the engine or something? My dad said that considering how old it is and how long it's been since it was driven, the main bearings could be froze up and I am sure that could do plenty of damage. After all of my studying and what not about this I am pretty sure I have everything covered, but is there anything else I need to know before attempting to crank a 32 year old Mopar?

And thanks for all of your previous help guys, this site rocks.
