I am working on a 55 ford convertible, installed a 351-w and truck C-4, maverick rear, dropped spindles with granada discs. Body and interior will remain stock looking and I will be retaining the original bottle cap hubcaps but it will be lowered a bit. When thats done I just purchased another frame for my 37 chevy p/u so I can update the suspension while still being able to drive the truck.

86 toyota pick up air ride suspension, we shortened the wheel base 23 inches, and it sports a 4' bed, under the hood lies a 302 (actually a 289, 302 block, cam, lifters, roller, rockers, heads, with 289 crank and pistons) soon to have a tube chassis with a couger indipendant rear end and mustang 2 front end so it can lay rockers (mini truckers know layin frame just isnt enough)

Project...
I have an Avanti that I am currently building a new tube chassis for utilizing the front and rear suspension from a '92 Corvette ZR1.
The engine is a 350 bored and stroked to 389 w/ a Lingenfelter top end. Have not yet decided on the tranny I keep going back and forth between 5 or 6 speed. Color is sort of a creme w/a little yellowish tinge and tan leather interior but will end up being Black w/ Tan interior.
Have a good one,
Dan

My projects have been on the back burner lately........
been doing stuff around the house and dealing with some personal probs.
........but, I did manage to install a new set of H&R progressive rate springs on my 92 500e this week. I also eliminated the factory "self levelling" rear suspension, and lowered the car an inch.
I'm in the middle of restoring an original AMG "hammer" (one of only 13 cars in existance), and hope to have the engine/trans back in it in the next 60 days. If all goes well, it will also be getting a complete jet hot coated "oval" exhaust system with an X-pipe and a 100 shot nitrous system.
Once the "hammer" is done, I will be able to get back on the GT40 project. Sadly, I have not been able to work on it since last July. Things are looking up for me now, so I hope to be finishing the plumbing & wiring on it, so I can move onto making the "bundle of snakes" headers this summer.
I still have a ton of work to do on the car, but I know it will be worth it when it's finally done.
I betcha I'm going to have more hours in finishing the exhaust in this car, than it took to build my first cobra replica!,,,,,but hey, building it is half the fun!

I've still been thinking about doing a low-buck street rod next, (father/daughter project) but for now, I have plenty to keep me both broke and busy.

I got one project fer this year which is a 1967 GMC K15 that I'm fixin up. Next year I plan to remove all the frame structure from my 83' 240D benz and mount it to a 90' ranger compleat frame w/ engine, trans and steering.
