always check your lug nuts
i just bought my "new" 64 biscayne wagon.over the first 2 weeks i was just fixing the major repairs, charging system, broken exhaust hanger, seat belts, throttle return spring, ect.i never thought of checking the lugs, the previous owner had just put on crager ss mags w/ cooper cobras.bringing the dragon' wagon back from the race shop on the freeway, the rear started to shake, kicked sideways, and no throttle responce.got the wagon over to the side of the freeway and found out the lugs ang studs were gone from the driver side rim.got the wagon towed to my work and changed out the studs on both sides of the rear axle and bought 15x7 chrome smoothies for the 64.i learned my lesson, always check them lugs on your new old ride.

Vibration
Had a74 Nova with McGard wheel lock's someone tried to rip one of them off, took all 4 lug's but didn't have time to finish. On the way home wheel started to vibrate . Suddenly wheel fell off and passed me .I remember looking back and seeing the spark's off my traction bar .What a bummer!!!!
