I don't exactly recall the price of a NOS rebuild kit, but it would make for an expensive experiment.
Silly me, I thought ECM stood for electronic computer module. Apparently the "c" stands for control..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
