heater core shut-off valve
I received a new Eastwood catalog this week. The cover [May-04] is a picture of an engine. The intake connection for the heater hose appears to have a shut-off valve. Anyone seen one of these? Know where to acquire one? Thanks, Joe.Joe

My 1964 Chevy pickup has a shutoff that comes
out of the intake. It is not the original engine, so I can't
tell you where it came from, but is sure is handy.

Go somewhere that specializes in valves, they'll hook you up. You could even do a solenoid valve that shuts off when you push a button. You have to decide whether to use a normally open or normally closed valve, and that will depend on you application.
