    Question Wilwood grease seals

Anybody have a Timken or National part number that is an alternative to Wilwood's 380-1562?

What's wrong with using the Wilwood part?

    Can you measure the part?

take it to a bearing shop & if they are worth a damn, they should be able to measure & cross reference it over... AND if they can be sure to put the new numbers in this post. That way if someone else has this problem they may find this info when doing a search for it....joe

Well, summit is asking $18.00 each for these seals and I just thought it was a little expensive compared to some other seals that I saw were going for around $4.00. I thank you for your assistance. I thought someone may have already found an alternate Timken or National part that was equivalent to the Wilwood 380-1562. I have the dimension from Wilwoods website OD is 2.506 ID is 1.562.
    Thanks again.

From the page that was linked by Denny. Read to the bottom. And they give you the interchange info.

    Info
Inner hub bearing seal for Wilwood Camaro, Nova, GM A-body kits as well as 49-56 Ford kits. Interchange with National seal number 40494S.

    2.50" outside diameter
    1.75" inside diameter
    0.25" thick

But your measures don't match with this one.
