Sway Bar
Question is will a sway bar make the front end ride a little stiff. All I am doing is cruising age is creeping in on me.

Properly installed it will have little to no effect in straight line driving.

It will keep it "flat" in the curves, you'll like it..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Yep. A sway bar doesn't do anything until the body/chassis starts to lean when turning. Then it has the same effect as increasing the spring rate on that corner of the car. If you are using a junk yard part try to find one from a car with close to the same corner weight as your car. A little thicker will not hurt but no reason to go real heavy if you're not autocrossing.

When an even load hits both wheels it has no effect but if one wheel hits a pot hole it does kind of increase the spring rate for that wheel. Depending on the size of the sway bar it does make your suspension a little less independent. I think the small trade off is worth it for the better handling.

so then it has to lean somewhat to transfer pressure/spring rate???????By popular opinions-just a grumpy old man key board bully--But really, if you are going to ask for help on an internet site, at least answer questions about what you are asking about-----
