getting rear end
Can anyone please tell me what model and year I can get a smooth pumpkin 56.5 to 58 inch (outside drum to drum) Ford 9 inch rear end out of. I know I can get one cut down but if I can get away without doing that I'd like to. Thank you

If by smooth pumpkin you mean the back "cover" of the axle housing the only years a 9" came from Ford with that is 1957-59. These also happen to be 57". Your other choice is Currie, who is now repopping that housing design.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
